Ministère de l’Économie
The Ministry of the Economy is responsible for implementing Luxembourg’s economic competitiveness policy. The Directorate-General for SMEs, Administrative Simplification, Crafts and Trade within the Ministry of the Economy serves as the main point of contact for small and medium-sized enterprises and operates in five key areas of responsibility: business permits; commercial practices and business development, for example through the Trade Register and the Retail Report of the National SME Observatory; administrative simplification in favour of businesses; the digitalisation of SMEs, for instance through the Letzshop platform; and the sustainable development of SMEs.
For any questions regarding a business permit, you can make an appointment with a representative from the Business Permits Department of the Ministry of the Economy, available every day from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the House of Entrepreneurship.
