Mapping Luxembourg’s Entrepreneurship & Innovation Ecosystem

The House of Entrepreneurship and the University of Luxembourg have joined forces to develop an interactive map of Luxembourg’s vibrant entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem.
Originally developed as a teaching tool for Master’s students in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, the map has since evolved into a resource for all stakeholders in Luxembourg’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. Today, it offers aspiring and established entrepreneurs, investors, industry partners, as well as national and international audiences, a comprehensive and user-friendly overview.
The interactive map is now available on the Uni.lu Luxembourg Observatory of Entrepreneurship and Innovation website. Click on the Ecosystems button in the tools section and start exploring!
Ongoing resources for education and research
The ongoing collaboration between the University and the Chamber of Commerce, organised within the framework of the Chair in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, will ensure the continued evolution and maintenance of this dynamic map, keeping pace with new initiatives and shifts within the ecosystem.
Over time, the tool will also become a valuable resource for research, enabling deeper analysis of the ecosystem’s development and emerging needs.
The map is already used as an educational tool in the Master in Entrepreneurship & Innovation, helping students understand the key entities and initiatives which are shaping the local startup landscape. With access to the beta version, students were already able to grasp the ecosystem's structure and engage with relevant actors to support their diverse projects.
“This tool bridges the gap between theory and practice. It offers our students a real-world view on the local landscape where many want to build and develop their projects.”
- Prof. Mickaël Géraudel, Chair Holder in Entrepreneurship and Innovation
Beyond academia, the map is designed to support all ecosystem stakeholders, such as institutions, companies, and support organisations. In offering a clearer, regularly updated view of Luxembourg’s ecosystem, it potentially enables new synergies and collaborations.
“This map empowers entrepreneurs with a clear, accessible overview of the ecosystem, helping them connect with the right support at the right time. It reflects our ongoing commitment to making entrepreneurship in Luxembourg more navigable, collaborative, and impactful.”
- Stéphanie Damgé. Director Entrepreneurship, Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce
