Aid scheme explained by video available in five languages

On 30 March 2020, the Chamber of Deputies unanimously adopted draft bill n°75321 introducing an aid scheme for businesses experiencing temporary financial difficulties due to the COVID-19 crisis. Aid for SMEs is also planned for in the draft bill, which aims to quickly and easily provide support to businesses affected by the current health crisis without burdening them with excessive paperwork. The budget mobilised by the State to assist SMEs amounts to EUR 300 million (out of the EUR 8.8 billion announced for the Stabilisation plan).

Aid of up to EUR 500,000 per business is planned to help deal with the situation. The allocation of the planned aid is nevertheless subject to a series of conditions. These have been explained by video, available in 5 languages and distributed by the House of Entrepreneurship of the Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with the Ministry of the Economy, General Directorate for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises:
